Continuing to grow and serve. August’s Philling the GAP is all about staff expansion. Within the last six months, the GAP staff has added seven new employees to help better serve our members in a number of ways. GAP’s Accounting, Communications, Member Services and Tournament teams have expanded.
The addition of new staff members has come from territory expansion as well as an increase in members and member clubs. This helps allow us to continue to provide the best service possible to members and member clubs.

GAP
Celebrating Amateur Golf since 1897, GAP, also known as the Golf Association of Philadelphia, is the oldest regional or state golf association in the United States. It serves as the principal ruling body of amateur golf in its region. The organization’s 340 Member Clubs and 100,000 individual members are spread across Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland. The GAP’s mission is to promote, preserve and protect the game of golf.
