The Ridge at Back Brook welcomes the 36th Senior Challenge Matches on Oct. 22.

The event pits GAP against the Maryland State Golf Association and New Jersey Golf. Eight senior golfers (55 years of age or older) represent each organization compete in 18 holes of stroke play. The top six scores count toward the team total.
GAP took the title with a six-shot victory in the 2024 edition at Bidermann Golf Course.

Celebrating Amateur Golf since 1897, GAP, also known as the Golf Association of Philadelphia, is the oldest regional or state golf association in the United States. It serves as the principal ruling body of amateur golf in its region. The Association’s 345 Member Clubs and 130,000 individual members are spread across Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland. The GAP’s mission is to promote, preserve and protect the game of golf.
