Below are the acceptance speeches issued during the event. Lancaster Country Club’s John Barry, the 2023 Senior Player of the Year, did not attend but offered the following remarks.

“It is an incredible honor to be the Golf Association of Philadelphia’s Senior Player of the Year for 2023. There are so many great players in the region, and it is always a grind to compile the most points. My goals this year were to be in the mix in each event, qualify for the U.S. Senior Amateur and snag a win. It is gratifying to reach all those goals. This was the first season in many years that my back was pain free. Good health and a little luck makes all the difference.”

Jeff Homer accepts the Junior Player of the Year Award.
Don Donatoni accepts the Super-Senior Player of the Year Award.
Troy Vannucci, with guidance from GAP Director of Operations Martin D. Emeno, Jr., accepts the William Hyndman, III Player of the Year Award.
