POTTSTOWN, Pa. — Talamore Country Club’s Patrick Sheehan carded a 4-under-par 67 to earn medalist honors in Open Championship Qualifying at Bellewood Country Club (par 71, 6,742 yards) Monday.

Sheehan, 22, of Doylestown, Pa., earned one of 36 qualifying positions and ties available for the Championship proper. The 119th Open Championship will take place July 19-20 at Lookaway Golf Club in Buckingham, Pa.
The cut line stopped at 75.
Sheehan, who tied for third in the 2021 Open Championship at Country Club of York, recently completed his senior year at Penn State University.
The next Open Championship Qualifying will take place June 21 at StoneHedge Golf Course in Tunkhannock, Pa.
