71st Mason-Dixon Matches: The Cannon Club

Team GAP falls in Maryland

The Middle-Atlantic Golf Association edged team GAP for its fifth consecutive victory after a 9.5-8.5 triumph at The Cannon Club on Oct. 11-12.

Jack Irons of Medford Lakes Country Club as well as Patrick Isztwan and Steve Cerbara of Huntingdon Valley Country Club led the GAP collective with 2-0 performances.

Beginning in 1952, the matches were played annually. After 2019, the event moved to a biennial schedule.

GAP leads the all-time series 35–31-5.
