Team GAP falls at Saucon

The Philadelphia PGA Section reclaimed the Philadelphia Challenge Matches with a 12.5-5.5 victory over GAP at Saucon Valley Country Club (Grace) Tuesday.

Two players led the GAP collective with 2-0 performances.

Huntingdon Valley Country Club’s Andy Butler went undefeated in his second appearance. He teamed up with Little Mill Country Club’s Troy Vannucci for a 2&1 four-ball victory over Braden Shattuck of Rolling Green Golf Club and Zac Oakley of Bidermann Golf Club. Butler defeated Oakley 1-up in singles.

Senior Jeff Frazier of Carlisle Country Club beat Brian Kelly of Titleist Fitcrew, 5&4 in singles. Frazier teamed up with Chris Fieger, Sr. of Heidelberg Country Club to defeated Kelly and John Pillar of Country Club at Woodloch Springs, 2&1. It’s his second consecutive 2-0 performance in this event.

The Philadelphia PGA Section leads the all-time series 23-5-4.
