Amateur Tara Joy-Connelly of Tuftonboro, N.H. carded a 1-over-par 73 to claim medalist honors in U.S. Senior Women’s Open Qualifying administered by GAP at Northampton Country Club (par 72, 5,807 yards).
Joining her in the Championship proper are professional C.J. Reeves of Bedford, N.Y. and amateur Kay Daniel of Covington, La. The cutline stopped at 6-over-par 78.
The 8th U.S. Senior Women’s Open Championship will be contested August 20-23 at Barton Hills Country Club in Ann Arbor, Mich.
