“We are excited to offer six events this spring as players will be given more opportunities to not only get their games in shape for the upcoming season, but to also accumulate more points in the Winter Series Player of the Year standings,” Chris Roselle, GAP Tournament Director, said. “Hopefully these above average winter temperatures are a precursor to an early spring.”

The Winter Series Player of the Year competition includes six categories: Amateur Gross, Senior Gross, Amateur Net, Senior Net, Women’s Gross and Women’s Net. It begins with the fall slate, which included four events in 2019.

The Winter Series is open to all GAP members 18 years of age or older, Philadelphia Section PGA members and golf professionals of GAP Member Clubs. It began in 2008 as a way to offer players of any skill level an opportunity to compete in tournament golf during the normally quiet, offseason months.

For more information regarding the Winter Series, contact Roselle at 610-687-2340 ext. 29 or via e-mail at croselle@gapgolf.org.
