The GAP roster is set for the 55th Williamson Cup. Hosted by the Rochester District Golf Association in 2019, it will take Aug. 11-12 at Irondequoit Country Club in Rochester, N.Y.
The Williamson Cup began in 1964, when it was established by Fred Williamson in his father’s memory. It is one of the premier Junior golf events in the nation and features teams various state and regional golf associations. This year, a total of 10 organizations will participate. The competition consists of 36 holes of stroke play with the low three scores on each four-man team counting toward the team total.
GAP holds seven titles overall (1969, 1984, 1987-88, 1991, 1993, 2000). Below is a look at the 2019 Williamson Cup team.

Celebrating Amateur Golf since 1897, GAP, also known as the Golf Association of Philadelphia, is the oldest regional or state golf association in the United States. It serves as the principal ruling body of amateur golf in its region. The Association’s 274 Full Member Clubs and 75,000 individual members are spread across the Eastern half of Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey and Delaware. The GAP’s mission is to promote, preserve and protect the game of golf.
