Country Club of Scranton’s David Mecca birdied the par 4, 406-yard 18th hole to win the 18th Spring Stroke Play at Elmhurst Country Club (par 72, 6,687 yards) Wednesday.

Mecca, the 2023 Middle-Amateur Champion, edged clubmate Joseph Grad by a stroke. He previously won the Stroke Play Championship at Elmhurst a year ago.
Bill Ianieri of Jack Frost National Golf Club claimed the Senior Division (par 72, 6,233 yards) with a score of even-par 72. Like Mecca, Ianieri prevailed a year ago in the Stroke Play Championship at Elmhurst.
In the Super-Senior Division (par 72, 5,460 yards), Wyoming Valley Country Club’s Joseph Weiscarger secured his third straight title. He carded a 5-under-par 67 to edge Country Club of Scranton’s Michael Vassil by two strokes.
