Founded in 1897, GAP continues to champion golf for the benefit of the game in its region and beyond.
The Player’s Dinner, following a one-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, returned Oct. 20 at Coatesville Country Club. The event’s 16th edition honored all 2021 GAP champions and highlighted the Players of the Year (Junior, Senior, Super-Senior and William Hyndman, III). Furthermore, GAP inducted Overbrook Golf Club’s Chris Lange into its Hall of Fame.

It serves as the principal ruling body of amateur golf in its region. The Association’s 300 Member Clubs and 80,000 individual members are spread across the Eastern half of Pennsylvania and parts of Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey. The GAP’s mission is to promote, preserve and protect the game of golf.
