DALLAS, Pa. — Wyoming Valley Country Club’s Eric Plisko carded an even-par 72 to capture the 15th GAP/AGA Spring Stroke Play at Irem Country Club (par 72, 6,496 yards) Tuesday.

The 2021 GAP/AGA Player of the Year edged Tony Bevevino of the host club by a stroke. Plisko birdied No. 18 (par 4, 313 yards) to secure his second Spring Stroke Play title (2018).
Like Plisko, Country Club of Scranton’s Brian Corbett notched an even-par 72 to prevail by a stroke in the Senior Division (par 72, 6,000 yards). He, too, edged a home-club hopeful in Lou Belgio. Elkview Country Club’s Michael Heck, the reigning GAP/AGA Super-Senior Player of the Year, won the event’s Super-Senior Division (par 72, 5,467 yards) with a 1-under-par 71.
