Little Mill Country Club’s Carlos Ochoa, Ed Kahm, John Conway and Brad Jankowski carded a 7-under-par 169 total across the 27 holes to take the Men’s Division of the Delaware Senior 27-Hole Challenge at Tuesday Chesapeake Bay Golf Club.
There are three different formats in this event. Scramble, best ball and alternate shot.
They shot 6-under-par 29 in the scramble portion, even-par 70 in the alternate shot and best-ball formats to claim a two-shot victory.
In the Women’s Division, Keven Lawson, Dona Wakeman and Shelly Pinkerton of the host club and Bernie Weed of Mulligan’s Pointe carded a 27-hole total of 198 (21 over) to claim the title. They shot 3-under-par 34 in the scramble, 6-over-par 76 in the best-ball format and an 18-over-par 88 in the alternate shot portion.
