Senior Challenge Matches set for Oct. 8

Team Delaware hosts the 35^th Senior Challenge Matches on Oct. 8 at Bidermann Golf Club in Wilmington, Del. This will be the last year Delaware will participate in the matches.

The event pits the Delaware State Golf Association against GAP, Maryland State Golf Association and New Jersey State Golf Association.

Eight senior golfers (55 years of age or older) representing each organization compete in 18 holes of stroke play. The top six scores count toward the team total.

Delaware holds one title (1994). The NJSGA took the title last year by two shots over GAP at Baltusrol Golf Club (Lower).
