MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. – Mark Pfeffer of Hidden Creek GC carded a gross score of 3-over-par 73 to take the Fall Net Championship at Deerwood CC (par 70, 6,050 yards) Monday with a net score of 8-under-par 62.
The 53-year-old Atlantic City, N.J., resident started strong with a birdie-net-eagle on the 2nd hole (par 4, 380 yards) and continued his solid play carding seven birdies (net) to outlast the 75-player field.
Bob Downs of Makefield Highlands GC took the first flight with a net score of 5-under-par 65 and
John O’Rourke of McCall Golf & CC and Mark Butterfoss of Rolling Green GC came out on top of the third flight with matching 1-under-par 69s (net).
