Regarded internationally as a premiere Junior golf event, the Williamson Cup features 10 state and regional golf associations over 36 holes of stroke play. The three lowest scores from each four-man team count toward the team total.

The Williamson Cup was established in 1964 by A. Fred Williamson in memory of his father, one of the original founders of the famed Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y. The Washington Metropolitan Golf Association took last year’s title with a team score of 438. Team GAP did not finish the event.

GAP won the Williamson Cup on seven occasions (1969, 1984, 1987-88, 1991, 1993, 2000).
