Team GAP falls at Lehigh

The Philadelphia PGA Section reclaimed the Philadelphia Challenge Matches with a 12-6 victory over GAP at Lehigh Country Club Wednesday.
Three players led the GAP collective with 2-0 performances.
Little Mill Country Club’s Troy Vannucci teamed up with Green Pond Country Club’s Scott Calamar for a 3&2 four-ball victory over Zach and Austin Barbin of Chesapeake Bay Golf Club. Vannucci defeated Austin 3&2 in singles.
Fieldstone Golf Club’s Joe Tigani teamed up with Jack Irons of Medford Lakes Country Club for a 2-up victory over Ross Brown of Fox Hill Country Club and Kyle Early of Waynesborough Country Club. Tigani defeated Brown in singles, 2-up. Irons secured his 2-0 performance with a 2-up win over Early.
The Philadelphia PGA Section leads the all-time series 24-5-4.

It serves as the principal ruling body of amateur golf in its region.
