South Jersey squad wins Four-Player Team

The South Jersey sensations returned to the Four-Player Team winner’s circle Tuesday. Well, sort of.

Riverton Country Club’s David Gall, Ben Litt and Matthew Ade, along with Moorestown Field Club’s Kevin Kramarski, filed a 9-under-par 133 to capture the event’s 27th edition at North Hills Country Club (par 71, 6,175 yards). The team, sans Ade, also won in 2016 at Hershey’s Mill Golf Club. Riverton’s Phillip Villari, Jr. filled Ade’s shoes that day.

The Women’s Division saw a returning winner as well. Lehigh Country Club’s Jackie Beck, Kennett Square Golf & Country Club’s Taylor Hollander and Northampton Country Club’s Katrin Wolfe posted a 1-over-par 143 at North Hills (par 71, 5,329 yards). The trio teamed with Golf Course at Glen Mills’ Grace Battista, who replaced Green Pond Country Club’s Nicolina Kulhamer in the lineup. The latter joined Beck, Hollander and Wolfe to win a year ago.

The best two balls of four count toward the team total.
