Founded in 1897, GAP continues to champion golf for the benefit of the game in its region and beyond.
A new event highlights the 2025 GAP/AGA tournament schedule.
The inaugural Women’s Four-Ball will take place May 7 at Glen Oak Country Club in Clarks Summit, Pa. It is an 18-hole better-ball-of-partners event that will feature three divisions: Amateur (18-54 years of age), Senior (55-64 years of age) and Super Senior (65 years of age or older).
“We’re excited to add the Women’s Four-Ball to the championship calendar this year,” Patrick Lloyd, GAP Director of Northeast Operations, said. “This is a great way to expand our women’s programming specifically in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The Women’s Four-Ball is the perfect forerunner to our Women’s Coal Scuttle Championship.”

The Coal Scuttle championships illuminate the GAP/AGA calendar. StoneHedge Golf Course welcomes the Super-Senior Coal Scuttle Championship on July 23. The Women’s Coal Scuttle Championship will take place at Berwick Golf Club on Aug. 8.
Fox Hill Country Club reclaimed hosting rights of the Senior Coal Scuttle Championship by virtue of its playoff victory over Olde Homestead Golf Club in 2024. The event’s 43rd edition flocks to Fox Hill Sept. 10. And it’s a milestone for the Men’s Coal Scuttle Championship, which celebrates its 75th playing. Huntsville Golf Club will host Round One on Sept. 27. Round Two heads to Wyoming Valley Country Club on Sept. 28.
