Wankmillers win Ringer prize in Fall Classic at Cripple Creek
Ray and Mike Wankmiller of Plantation Lakes Golf & Country Club took the Ringer (Gross) prize after two days of the Fall Classic at Cripple Creek Golf & Country Club (par 71, 5,977 yards) in a scorecard playoff with a score of 8 under.
They also took the Net Division of the Ringer at 12 under.
In the better-ball-of-partners portion, Whitford Country Club’s Chris Yard and Patrick Henneghan took the First Flight trophy at 8 under. In the Second Flight, the Wankmiller’s shot 6 under to lead the Flight. The Third Flight prize went to DuPont Country Club’s Guy Wharton and White Clay Creek Country Club’s Art Young at 5 over. Vincent Guglielmo and Bob Stuart of DuPont took the Fourth Flight at 16 over.
