Three teams take titles at Irem

Jonathan Wilson of the host team joined Country Club of Scranton’s Michael Thomas to take the 11th Carlyle Robinson Fall Four-Ball at Irem Country Club (par 72, 6,377 yards) Monday.

The team carded a 4-under-par 68 amid cold and rainy conditions. Wilson and Thomas defeated USGA/GAP GC member Edward Dolinish and Scranton Canoe Club’s Ryne Luce in a scorecard playoff.

In the Senior Division (par 72, 6,000 yards), stalwarts Ken Bolcavage of Elkview Country Club and Art Brunn, Jr. of Wyoming Valley Country Club found a familiar spot. Atop the leaderboard, trophies in hand. Bolcavage and Brunn carded a 2-under-par 70. Speaking of stalwarts, projected GAP/AGA Super-Senior Player of the Year Joseph Weiscarger paired with Elmhurst Country Club’s Thomas White to prevail. The team captured the Super-Senior Division (par 72, 5,467 yards) with a score of 8-under-par 64.
