Tara Joy-Connelly of Middleborough, Mass. carded a 4-over-par 75 to claim medalist honors in U.S. Senior Women’s Open Qualifying administered by GAP at White Manor Country Club (par 71, 5,844 yards).

Joining her in the Championship proper are professional Yuko Ogura of Japan and amateurs Monica Pedano of Wayne, Pa., Stephenie Harris of Furlong, Pa., and Dawn Swit of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. The cutline stopped at 10-over-par 81 by day’s end.

The 6th U.S. Senior Women’s Open Championship will be contested at Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh, Pa. Aug. 1-4.
