Golden Oaks, Inc., founded in February 1991 by Robert E. Bean and Emidio Filippini, soon expanded, and Golden Oaks Golf Club was constructed in 1994. The golf club itself is full service, and is located in Fleetwood, Pa. in beautiful Berks County. Golf course architect Jim Blaukovitch of Quakertown, Pa. designed the course.
Golden Oaks features an 18-hole, 7,100-yard course with bent grass from tee to green. The course has been rated by Golf Digest with “Four Stars” as one of the top “Places to Play” in the country and was voted as the “Best Public Golf Course” by readers of Berks County Living Magazine. Despite its membership availability, Golden Oaks also offers public play.
