Philling the GAP: Central opportunities

Expand your golf horizons by taking advantage of golf opportunities in Central Pennsylvania. Check out the GAP Central schedule; opportunities aplenty for golfers of all ages and skill levels. It starts May 21 at Eagles Mere Country Club in Eagles Mere, Pa. and concludes Oct. 9 at Shade Mountain Golf Course in Middleburg, Pa.   • GAP Central features a Player of the Year competition in two divisions: Men’s Senior and Men’s Super-Senior. Points will be awarded based on the size of the field and player ranking in each event.
  • GAP Central participants can save $45 by entering all events through an exclusive season pass. Juniors can take advantage of a one-time registration fee of $45 to enter all junior events.
  • GAP started offering concentrated programming in Central Pennsylvania in 2018.
  • How do you find GAP Central online? Visit www.gapgolf.org, scroll to the “Play” tab, highlight “Regions” in the dropdown menu and select “GAP Central.
  • Williamsport, Pa. isn’t just known for the Little League World Series. Williamsport Country Club is among the well-regarded establishments in the GAP Central purview.
