The GAP/DSGA season teed off Monday for the first round of the Spring Classic at Kings Creek Country Club (par 71, 5,995 yards).
Tuesday, the 52 teams will traverse Rehoboth Beach Country Club to determine the four flight winners.
The Spring Classic is a 36-hole Net Stableford competition. The team total score is calculated with the combined total of points earned by both players during the course of the two rounds.
The flights are based on handicap indexes. Day One leaders are listed below.
First Flight: Andrew MacLean and Joseph Sabelhaus, Bayside Resort Golf Club, 68 points
Second Flight: Mike and Ray Wankmiller, Plantation Lakes Golf & Country Club, 70 points
Third Flight: Adam and Robert Ternosky, USGA/GAP GC, 74 points
Fourth Flight: Art Young and Guy Wharton, White Clay Creek Country Club and DuPont Country Club, 77 points
