Little Mill’s Hyland and Tavistock’s Arthur take title

Tom Hyland of Little Mill Country Club and Bob Arthur of Tavistock Country Club carded a best-ball 67 to take the hardware in the GAP/DSGA Senior Four-Ball Tuesday at Odessa National Golf Club (par 72, 6,069 yards).
After making the turn in 3 under, Arthur went eagle-birdie on Nos. 11 (par 5, 498 yards) and 12 (par 4, 325 yards) to get the team to 6 under. Hyland proved clutch on No. 16 (par 5, 455 yards) with the decisive birdie after two consecutive team bogeys on Nos. 14 (par 4, 397 yards) and 15 (par 3, 176 yards).
