William Flynn is the architect of choice. The GAP Architect Series gives GAP members a chance to experience Flynn’s work. Below is a list of venues and dates.
Venue | Date |
Concord Country Club | April 21 |
Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club | July 7 |
Rolling Green Golf Club | Aug. 25 |
Lehigh Country Club | Oct. 6 |
Registration for the GAP Architect Series is open. Cost is $925 and includes a tee gift, cart fee, lunch, golf and prizes. The GAP Architect Series is open to male and female members of a GAP Member Club who are 18 years of age or older.
A participant can substitute with another GAP member if he or she is unable to attend one or more of the events. For those familiar with GAP Member Play Days, the GAP Architect Series is of the same look and feel, just elevated. It includes an upgraded lunch experience, complimentary beverages on the golf course and the aforementioned tee gift.
“The inaugural GAP Architect Series featuring William Flynn was a great success. When looking at options for architects to feature for the 2025 season, it was clear that more of Flynn’s terrific facilities in the GAP region offered the best combination of courses. Concord, Manufacturers’, Rolling Green, and Lehigh showcase the most prominent features of Flynn’s design, and the quality of each club will provide a top-notch experience for the players,” Steve Latos, GAP Director of Member Services, said.
In 2021, the Flynn lineup included Eagles Mere Country Club, Huntingdon Valley Country Club, Lancaster Country Club, Philadelphia Country Club and Rolling Green Golf Club. The GAP Architect Series honored Donald Ross in 2023 and included LuLu Country Club, Riverton Country Club, St. Davids Golf Club, Union League Golf Club at Torresdale and Country Club of York.
