Wilmington Country Club’s Jeff Homer carded a round of 74 to take the Round One lead of the 72nd Delaware Junior Boys’ Championship Thursday at Maple Dale Country Club (par 72, 6,407 yards).

In the 40th Junior Girls’ Championship, Wild Quail Golf & Country Club’s Reagan Garnsey fired a 76 to seize the first-round lead (par 72, 5,422 yards). She is looking for her second title. She won in 2021 at Mulligan’s Pointe.
