8th Interclub Pro-Am: Heritage Shores

Bear Trap Dunes, led by professional Foster Haynes, takes title

The 8th Delaware Interclub Pro-Am took place Monday at Heritage Shores Club (par 72, 6,430 yards).

The format included teams requiring one golf professional and three amateur members from the same Member Club. For the team competition, the best 3-of-4 (Gross and Net) scores counted. The low four gross teams in regulation moved on to a three-hole alternate-shot shootout. 

The Peninsula Golf & Country Club, led by professional Greyson Rossi, finished at 9-under-par 207. They were joined in the shootout by another one of its teams led by pro Will Scarborough (8-under-par 208), Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club (8-under-par 208) and Wild Quail Golf & Country Club (5-under-par 211). The Bear Trap Dunes squad would take the title by shooting 2 under in the shootout.

In the individual professional portion of the event, Michael Chanaud of The Peninsula led the way with a 67.
