The 7th annual GAP/DSGA Pro-Am took place Monday at Heritage Shores Club (par 72, 6,440 yards).
The day’s format included teams requiring one golf professional and three amateur members from the same Member Club. For the team competition, the best 3-of-4 (Gross & Net) scores counted. The low four gross teams in regulation moved on to the alternate-shot shootout.
Bear Trap Dunes, led by professional Foster Haynes, finished at 10-under-par 206. They were joined in the shootout by Cripple Creek Country Club (8-under-par 208), The Peninsula (6-under-par 210) and Mulligan’s Pointe (1-under-par 215).
Scores for alternate-shot shootout | No. 16 | No. 17 | No. 18 | Total |

Mulligan’s Pointe (Long) | 3 | 5 | 6 | 14 |

In the individual professional portion of the event, Bear Trap Dunes’ Michael Chanaud led the way with a 67. As a result of his play, he receives an entry into the Delaware Open.
