Draper, Williams prevail in playoff at Elmhurst

Glen Oak Country Club’s Kyle Williams made a six-footer for birdie on the first playoff hole (No. 1, par 4, 412 yards) at Elmhurst Country Club (par 72, 6,659 yards) to secure the 38th GAP/AGA John Moore Memorial Tournament at Elmhurst and Emanon Country Club (par 70, 5,665 yards).

Williams and teammate Stephon Draper, a Country Club of Scranton member, defeated Berwick Golf Club’s Corey Bierly and Joe Kelchner in sudden-death. Both teams finished regulation tied at 9-under-par 133.

Draper and Williams stood a shot off the Day One lead at 66. The team closed with a bogey on No. 18 (par 4, 411 yards), thus prompting a deadlock atop the leaderboard.
