The most anticipated time of the year is here. The 2026 GAP Schedule has been delivered.
It features more than 70 events for golfers of all ages and skills. GAP’s tournament season kicks off with Middle-Amateur Qualifying at Five Ponds Golf Club and ends with the Mixed Foursomes Championship at the Steel Club in October.

Huntingdon Valley Country Club 1 won its 35th title by 4.5 points over Philadelphia Cricket Club 1. BMW returns as the presenting sponsor for the 12th consecutive year. The BMW Team Matches is the largest and oldest Interclub competition in the country.

There are four chances at glory for Philadelphia’s best.
Saturday qualifying for the Middle-Amateur continues (April 18 at Five Ponds). There will be five qualifying events for the Philadelphia Amateur and four each for the Middle-Amateur, Open and Patterson Cup.

The Brewer Cup, the only shared Major between the Senior (55 years of age or older) and Super-Senior (65 or older) groups, will take place July 6-8 at Trump National Golf Club – Philadelphia. It is a WAGR event. Senior Majors include the Francis B. Warner Cup at Cherry Valley Country Club May 4; the Frank H. Chapman Memorial Cup June 10 at Honeybrook Golf Club and 56th Senior Amateur at Blue Bell Country Club Sept. 8-9. The Super-Senior iterations start with the Warner Cup May 26 at LuLu Country Club; Chapman Cup June 2 at Cobblestone Creek Country Club and the 21st Super-Senior Amateur at Little Mill Country Club (White/Blue) Aug. 10-11. The Senior Four-Man Team is June 30 at North Hills Country Club. The Senior Four-Ball Stroke Play, with Senior and Super-Senior divisions, visits Heidelberg Country Club Aug. 26.

GAP’s junior opportunities are reserved for individuals 18 years of age or younger who haven’t started their college education or reached 19 by the final day of the Championship. The junior schedule includes the 112th Junior Boys’ Championship at Chester Valley Golf Club (June 22-24), a WAGR event; Jock MacKenzie Memorial at Sandy Run Country Club (July 6); Francis X. Hussey Memorial at Rolling Green Golf Club (July 13); Christman Cup at RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve (July 21) and The Deeg Sezna at Radley Run Country Club (Aug. 3). The Jock, Hussey and Deeg all have Girls’ divisions.
The Junior-Junior Boys’ Championship will take place July 21 at Philadelphia Cricket Club (St. Martins). It is open to male GAP members ages 10-13. There isn’t a handicap requirement for this event. The tournament’s format is 18-hole stroke play.

The 8th Women’s Spring Scramble will be May 18 at Moselem Springs Golf Club. The 5th BMW GAP Women’s Championship July 6-7 at Jericho National Golf Club. It is a WAGR event. The Women’s Middle-Amateur/Senior Championship will take place Sept. 22 at RiverWinds Golf & Tennis Club with the Middle-Amateur Division representing women between the ages of 25 and 49 and the Senior Division representing women 50 years or older. It’s a separate event from the BMW GAP Women’s Championship. The Mixed Foursomes Championship is Oct. 13 at Steel Club.

Make memories that last in GAP Parent/Child events, which feature Father-Son; Mother-Son; Father-Daughter and Mother-Daughter divisions. Bala Golf Club will host the Younger, open to teams with children 18 years of age or younger, on July 7. The Parent/Child (Middle/Older) will be on May 28 at Green Pond Country Club. The event will be split into two divisions with the Middle representing children from the ages of 19-29, and the Older will be for children 30 or older.

GAP will administer 17 qualifying events for USGA (United States Golf Association) championships: U.S. Senior Open (Local) (April 21 at Out Door Country Club); U.S. Open (Local) (April 27 at Medford Village Country Club, April 30 at Country Club of York, May 4 at Chester Valley, May 11 at Elmhurst Country Club); U.S. Junior Amateur and U.S. Girls’ Junior (June 11 at Saucon Valley Country Club (Weyhill)); U.S. Senior Women’s Open (June 16 at Northampton Country Club); U.S. Amateur (Local) (June 24 at Huntingdon Valley Country Club); U.S. Amateur (Final) (July 20 at Llanerch Country Club); U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur (July 23 at Brookside Country Club of Allentown); U.S. Mid-Amateur (Aug. 10 at Carlisle Country Club, Aug. 24 at Chester Valley); U.S. Senior Amateur (July 29 at Talamore Country Club); U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur (Aug. 11 at The Springhaven Club); U.S. Amateur Four-Ball (Aug. 25 at Stonewall (Old)) and U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball (Sept. 14 at Chesapeake Bay Golf Club).

The Pro-President, open to golf professionals and club presidents of GAP Member Clubs, is April 29 at Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club. The event includes lunch, golf, cocktails, dinner and a presentation.
The 5th Net Championship will be at Philmont Country Club on Aug. 17. The field will be divided into four divisions (Amateur Men, Senior Men, Amateur Women and Senior Women). Each division will then be divided, into flights based on USGA Handicap Index.

GAP will be represented in five honorary team events. The 64th Compher Cup, a bout against New Jersey Golf, will be played at Lancaster Country Club on April 30. The 62nd Williamson Cup, a distinguished junior competition, will take place Aug. 10-11 at Knickerbocker Country Club in Tenafly, N.J. The 37th Senior Challenge Matches showcases eight-man teams from GAP, New Jersey and Maryland and will take place Oct. 22 at Chevy Chase Club in Chevy Chase, Md. The region’s top amateur and professionals collide during the 34th Philadelphia Challenge Matches Sept. 30 at Saucon Valley (Grace).

The Association thanks its volunteers for all their hard work throughout the year with a pair of appreciation opportunities. Bala will host on Oct. 8; Valley Country Club will host on Oct. 15.
The annual Player’s Dinner, recognizing the top performances from the year, takes place on Nov. 4 at Merion Golf Club. The AGA Player’s Dinner will be Nov. 13 at Glenmaura National Golf Club.

The 3rd GAP Adaptive Championship will take place Oct. 12-13 at Atlantic City Country Club. Throughout the season there will be a series of Clinics and Adaptive Play Days. Check gapadaptive.org for details.
