2026 GAP/AGA schedule

GAP/AGA schedule released; registration open

The 2026 GAP/AGA tournament schedule features a brand-new event, the Northeast Match Play Invitational.

This season-long competition includes will include 16 male amateurs, eight senior (ages 55-64) amateurs and eight super-senior (ages 65 or older) amateurs. It is an invitation-only event based on the 2025 GAP/AGA Player of the Year standings.

The Northeast Match Play Invitational will take place in schedule windows. The Amateur Division is as follows: Round of 16 (June 1-30), Quarterfinals (July 1-31) and Semifinals (Aug. 1-31). The schedule window for the Senior and Super-Senior divisions is as follows: Quarterfinals (July 1-31) and Semifinals (Aug. 1-31).

The Final is set for Sept. 24 at Country Club of Scranton. The Amateur Division tees off at 8 a.m. followed by the Senior (8:10 a.m.) and Super-Senior (8:20 a.m.) divisions.

Registration for all remaining GAP/AGA events, save for the Coal Scuttle Championships, opens March 2. The Women’s Four-Ball returns for a second year in a new time window (June) and at a new venue (Valley Country Club).

The Coal Scuttle championships perpetually highlight the GAP/AGA calendar. Elkview Country Club shoulders half the host load: Super-Senior (Aug. 19) and Senior (Sept. 9). Wyoming Valley Country Club welcomes the Women’s Coal Scuttle Championship on Aug. 20. The 76th Men’s Coal Scuttle Championship will take place at Huntsville Golf Club on Sept. 26 and Fox Hill Country Club on Sept. 27.

Gross division winners of any GAP/AGA event will earn an invitation to the Anthracite Player’s Dinner, set for Nov. 13at Glenmaura National Golf Club. Now in its third year, the Anthracite Player’s Dinner celebrates the season’s tournament winners with food and fellowship.
