2021 Handicap season ended Nov. 14

Handicap posting season ended Nov. 14 in GAP region

| GHIN World Handicap System USGA Rules/Handicapping Guidance |

The active handicap posting season in the GAP region ended Sunday, Nov. 14. Next season, posting resumes April 1, 2022.

Scores may still be eligible to be posted to your handicap record, presuming they’re in accordance with the Rules of Handicapping and the Rules of Golf, if they are played in active-posting regions.

In the beginning of 2020, the World Handicap System was introduced. Handicap revisions now occur on a daily basis. The WHS brings six different handicap systems together into a single set of Rules for Handicapping, enabling golfers of different abilities to play and compete on a fair and equal basis. For more resources, visit GAP’s World Handicap System page.

Eligible scores can be posted on GHIN.com from a computer, or via iPhone or Android through the GHIN Mobile App. Search “GHIN” in the App Store or Google Play to download the newest version. New for 2021, a player must create a Digital Profile to access the App or GHIN.com. When visiting the page for the first time this year, you will be logged out. Click on “Create Profile” to initiate the process. If you are having an issue, please contact your club for further assistance.

If you have a question, contact the Handicapping Department at 610-687-2340 ext. 20 or email handicapping@gapgolf.org.
