GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Louis Kelly, an assistant professional out of Gulph Mills Golf Club carded a 4-under-par 68 to earn medalist honors in Open Championship Qualifying at Elkview Country Club (par 72, 6,672 yards) Wednesday.

Kelly earned one of nine qualifying positions and ties available for the Championship proper. The 120th Open Championship will take place July 16-17 at Applebrook Golf Club in Malvern, Pa.
The cut line stopped at 1-over-par 73 by day’s end.
The Open Championship is the third Major of GAP’s tournament season.
