Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Are there restrictions for playing?
Yes. Some courses may set restrictions for when Youth on Course members can play for $5 or less. Check the course directory for course availability and policies.

2. Do you pay for range balls and cart fees?
Carts and range balls are not included in a Youth on Course round. Use of carts is strictly at the discretion of the course. We encourage members to walk.

3. How long does my membership last?
Memberships last for the current calendar year ending on December 31.

4. How do I get my membership card?
Download the Youth on Course App to keep a digital card on your phone.

5. How do I play for $5 or less?
After registering for Youth on Course, you will receive an email with your membership number. Use that number to log in to the Youth on Course App. Present your membership information with the App or GHIN number when you go to play during available Youth on Course times.

6. When will I get my membership number?
After you sign up, you will receive an email within 24 hours with your member number. If you already have a GHIN Number from another club, be sure to sign up with that to avoid being assigned a new GHIN number.

7. What is a GHIN Number and how do I use it?
GHIN stands for Golf Handicap and Information Network, a service that helps golfers maintain a Handicap Index. After receiving a GHIN number, you can create a profile to utilize the GHIN software to post your scores to your Handicap Index from any USGA licensed golf course in the United States. Features of the GHIN mobile app include a GPS for live yardages and stat tracking that allows you to track detailed progress over time.

8. What do I do with my membership number?
Having an active membership number means you have paid for the year and are able to play for $5 or less at Youth on Course facilities. Your number can also be used to establish an official USGA Handicap Index to track your progress and compete in tournaments.

9. Do I have to take a curriculum?
Yes. After joining the first time you will need to complete the online curriculum to activate your membership number. You will get a link to the curriculum after joining via email and it takes about 15 minutes to complete.
