Play suspended in U.S. Open Qualifier at Scranton

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. — Play in today’s U.S. Open Local Qualifier administered by GAP at Country Club of Scranton (par 70, 6,672 yards) is suspended due to unplayable course conditions.

It is expected to resume at 9 a.m. tomorrow, May 14. Officials will re-evaluate course conditions prior. The driving range will open at 7:30 a.m. for competitors.

Heavy rainfall forced play to be suspended at 12:16 p.m. Monday. That, coupled with yesterday’s rain total, rendered the course unplayable.

There are five qualifying positions available.
