Become a winter warrior on the golf course. Since 2008, the GAP Winter Series has been offering up cold-weather opportunities for players looking to extend their season in a casual-yet-competitive manner. Featuring both fall and winter portions, the Winter Series schedule consistently features exciting playing venues and Stableford (gross and net) formats. Added into the mix are races for Player of the Year honors, broken up into three categories (Amateur, Senior, Super Senior) for both men and women in both the net and gross categories. Just because posting season ends in November doesn’t mean your golf game should. Grab a few playing partners and sign up for the Winter Series slate today.

  • The Association added a Women’s Division, which also features a POY competition (Gross and Net), to the Winter Series in 2018.
  • Player of the Year awards began in the fall of 2010. Greg Smith of Radley Run holds the current record with eight-straight Amateur Net POTY honors.
  • Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 fall state features four events (White Manor Country Club, Philmont Country Club, Indian Valley Country Club, Bala Golf Club). Spring dates will be announced shortly.
  • The scoring format is gross and net Stableford. Points are awarded for each hole based on a score relative to par. Once you meet your net limit, players may pick up.
