GAP wants to ensure that all members who plan to participate in GAP events are aware of the COVID-19 travel advisory issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The advisory states: If you have traveled, or plan to travel, to an area where there are high amounts of COVID-19 cases, it is recommended that you stay at home for 14 days upon return to Pennsylvania. If you travel to the following states, it is recommended that you quarantine for 14 days upon return:

  • Alabama
  • Arizona
  • Arkansas
  • California
  • Delaware
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Idaho
  • Iowa
  • Kansas
  • Louisiana
  • Mississippi
  • Nevada
  • North Carolina
  • Oklahoma
  • South Carolina
  • Tennessee
  • Texas
  • Utah

Note that this recommendation includes all persons travelling within these states even if they are only in transit. While the Commonwealth specifically stated that a quarantine is a recommendation and not a requirement, GAP encourages all of its members to follow the guidance of the Commonwealth. GAP asks that its members manage their participation in GAP events accordingly.  GAP will notify all of its members immediately on its website if there are status changes to Pennsylvania’s recommendation.

Thank you for your anticipated understanding as GAP and its membership continues to navigate these difficult times.
