Let the games begin.

The Golf Association of Philadelphia’s 2017 season officially opens April 1. That means you can now post scores from courses in the Philadelphia region to your handicap record. The Association will revise handicaps on the 1st and 15th of each month.

Scores can be posted straight from your iPhone or Android thanks to the GAP App. Search “gapgolf” in the App Store or Google Play to download the newest version.

Handicap posting season for the Philadelphia region has been extended by two weeks beginning in 2017. The last day scores can be posted is now Nov. 14.

The schedule change was made by the GAP as a response to the mild weather in recent Novembers, as a way to give golfers a chance to post more rounds and to end up with a more accurate USGA Handicap Index.
