The 1 MORE campaign will again be presented by Callaway Golf in 2019. It encourages golfers throughout the Philadelphia region to further engage with their respective club or facility.
Callaway Golf presenting the campaign, for the first time, last year.
Implemented in 2016, the 1 MORE campaign promotes the act of going the extra mile to support the game. That’s one more round played, one more meal at your club, one more lesson with your teaching professional, one more venture with a caddie in tow or one more golfer introduced to the sport.
As part of its 1 MORE campaign, GAP offers monthly drawings for those who play at least one more round. Callaway Golf prizes for monthly winners include equipment such as golf balls, wedges and more. Winners will be announced via the GAP eRevision. A grand prize will be awarded upon the campaign’s conclusion in 2019.
The 1 MORE campaign runs from April 1 to Nov. 15 — the Association’s active handicap season. Participants can track their monthly progress through My GAP Locker to see where they stand compared to 2018 for each month.
All GAP members are eligible to participate in the 1 MORE campaign via My GAP Locker. Participants who meet their “one more round” benchmark will be entered into subsequent drawings, which will take place on the first of each month.
In addition to the 1 MORE campaign, Callaway Golf also serves as the presenting sponsor of the Brewer Cup and 117th Joseph H. Patterson Cup. The Member Play Day event at Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club, set for Sept. 30, is also presented by Callaway Golf. Participants in that event can enjoy a “Callaway experience.”

Callaway Golf was founded in 1982 by the late Ely Callaway, a visionary entrepreneur who operated under a simple but profound business promise: Deliver Demonstrably Superior, Pleasingly Different products and services. That philosophy turned what was originally a boutique manufacturer of high-quality wedges and putters into the world’s largest maker of premium, performance golf products. The Callaway mission and vision has remained the same; we passionately pursue advanced, innovative technologies that help golfers of all abilities find more enjoyment from the game. Under the Callaway and Odyssey brands, Callaway manufactures and sells golf clubs and golf balls, and sells golf apparel, footwear and accessories in more than 110 countries worldwide.
Celebrating Amateur Golf since 1897, GAP, also known as the Golf Association of Philadelphia, is the oldest regional or state golf association in the United States. It serves as the principal ruling body of amateur golf in its region. The Association’s 274 Full Member Clubs and 75,000 individual members are spread across the Eastern half of Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey and Delaware. The GAP’s mission is to promote, preserve and protect the game of golf.
