April 1 opens handicap posting season

Greens are growing and grounds crews are mowing. Glorious golf season is officially upon us.

As of Monday, April, 1, the active handicap posting season in the GAP region is open for business. All rounds played in the Philadelphia region are now eligible to be posted to your handicap record. The Association will revise handicaps on the 1st and 15th of each month.

Scores can be posted straight from your iPhone or Android thanks to the updated GAP App. Search “gapgolf” in the App Store or Google Play to download the newest version.

If you have a question, contact the Handicapping Department at 610-687-2340 ext. 20 or email handicapping@gapgolf.org.

GAP
Celebrating Amateur Golf since 1897, GAP, also known as the Golf Association of Philadelphia, is the oldest regional or state golf association in the United States. It serves as the principal ruling body of amateur golf in its region. The Association’s 273 Full Member Clubs and 75,000 individual members are spread across the Eastern half of Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey and Delaware. The GAP’s mission is to promote, preserve and protect the game of golf.
