The field is limited to the first 156 entries at this qualifying site.
Practice rounds are available July 14,21,25 and July 23 after 12. You must call to schedule a tee time no more than 2 weeks in advance (215) 947-0741. The practice round fee is $75 (walking or riding). Payment options are cash, reciprocal Charge, mastercard or visa. Pull carts are permitted.
Pairings will be in groups of three.
If size of field warrants, 1st & 10th tee, AM & PM Starting.
The qualifying number and ties will gain entrance into the Championship. There will be no playoff for qualifying positions or alternates.
Automotive transportation is required in this event, the fee of $35 is in addition to your entry fee and includes range balls.
The number of qualifying postions available is based on the number of exempt entries and the number of entries at the qualifying sites.

36-hole individual gross stroke play, two-day event. With a cut to the low 60 and ties for the second round.
Open to Member Club golfers with handicaps of 7.0 or lower.

All players who wish to compete in the Patterson Cup on August 9-10, 2017 at Wilmington CC and are not exempt under the Qualifying Exemptions must qualify at one of the two qualifiers.
The field of 144 players will be determined by the Patterson Cup Qualifier held at Philmont CC, Bluestone CC and exempt entries.

Normally beginning at 7:30 AM on intervals determined by pairings. If size of field warrants, 1st & 10th tee starting will be utilized. The field will be cut to the low 60 and ties after the first day and re-paired for the second day tee times.
Automotive transportation is NOT permitted for this event.

4-hole play-off for low gross at the conclusion of the second round. Second place ties will be awarded duplicate prizes, prize money to be split. All other ties will be split evenly.

NOTE: The Silver Cross, which represents the stroke play championship of the Association, will be awarded to the player returning the lowest total score in the Patterson Cup and the qualifying round of the Amateur Championship.
